Blog Awards

An often kind part of the blogging community, there are fellow bloggers out there who bestow blog awards on other blogs. There are various debates on the value of these, some bad for example “it’s blog spam”, some good for example “it is a good way to promote your blog amongst the community of blogs”. Often the negative stems from the rules that accompany receiving and passing on a blog award. However either way if you receive a blog award it means someone has thought of you, or at least your blog and considers it worthy enough to be highlighted to other blogs, bloggers or I suppose the internet in general. So in many ways it is a nice thing. This blog has been the recipient of several awards, which are posted below. Some are linked to blog posts highlighting the fact and some passing on of awards. Some are not.

And these ones I haven’t done a post on them yet or passed them on “officially” yet. I reserve the right to do these, or pass them on to deserving recipients / victims at a later date:

From Vikki at “The View Outside“:

And I say thank you to all the kind bloggers that thought of this blog. I enjoy reading many blogs out there even if I have only limited time to do so at the moment.

Oh, my, I just saw this. I’m not sure when you posted it, but thanks so much for thinking of me. I was Googling my book title which I do periodically to make sure I haven’t missed anything, and this came up. Thank you!
